How to create personalized product email templates

Within the Online Store (only available on Event Caddy PRO), you have the ability to send a customized auto-generated email for every product you sell! Here's how:

1. From the side navigation of your admin dashboard select Finances & Commerce -> Online Store > Product Email Template.

2. On the next screen select the 'Add new email template' button located in the top right-hand corner.

   

3. From here you can create your fully custom - and personalized - email template (you'll assign it to a specific product later).

   1. Give your template a unique name so you can easily remember it for later when you assign it to a specific product.

   3. With the built-in content editor, you don't need to know HTML to build a world-class template. We've also included some handy 'helpers' that you can insert into your template which will auto populate information such as player name, tournament name, tournament date and more. These are located next to the headings 'Tournament placeholders', 'Admin placeholders' and 'Customer placeholders'

      

4. As you add content to the content editor it will populate the 'Sample' email section below so you can see a preview of what your email will look like when it is sent out.

5. Once you're happy with your registration email template, select the 'Create product email template button' to create your email.

6. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for each product email template you wish to create.

Finally, once you've got all your product email templates set up you can head back to Finances & Commerce -> Online Store to edit/create the items and select the appropriate email template. Check Section 3 at this link for further information.
